Pseudo-review for JLA/Avengers #1

The comic that been in the making for the past 20 years: JLA/Avengers. This 4-issue limited series is written by Kurt Busiek and pencilled by George Perez. And i have it. I have three copies of it. One for keps, one for reading and one for selling. Why anyone should get it is because of George Perez, the artist who should be the bar for aspiring super hero comic artists to reach and Kurt Busiek, writer of Astro City and one of THE best comic book writers today. This comic also has one of the best scenes in this issue has Thor decking Superman gaining first blood for the Avengers. Also Hawkeye, member of the Avengers, is part of this adventure. If it ever came down to him and Green Arrow, I'm all Hawkeye all the way. And he delivers the best line in the issue "Oh right-- now I got it! These Losers-- They're nothin' but a bunch of Squadron Supreme Wanna-bes!". Industry joke everyone. Don't think about it too much.

Screw this. I just can't write a review for this. All I know its awesome. It has two top talents of the comic book industry. It has the flagship teams of both comic companies and each team has its best members in it. So the fight scenes should be awesome. The only thing I wish for in this story is that its part of continuity. For those of you who don't understand what I mean when i say 'it should be part of continuity', is when someone changes they stay changed, no mind-wiping or memory erasing or universe spanning amnesia. and when characters die, they stay dead. Thats it.

Finally! I'll settle for this as my review. Not professional, I know, but I'm not a professional.
