The Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day can tell you how to get to Sesame Street!
That last part is so true.
A quote by Eleanor Roosevelt
Unfortunately the future may belong to the deviants, the psychos, the extremists and the narrow-minded. Don't let it happen.

Today's Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day is for the birds!
"It’s a candid moment between Hitch and Tippi Hedren where the photographer seemed to be in the right place at the right time as pigeons launch around the room like a John Woo movie."

Look! It Moves! #51: When The Old Collides And Becomes New
"Thriller comics tend to run counter to juvenile vibe of superhero comics, since the thriller genre tends to carry a more, I don’t know, “respectable” or “adult” vibe compared to stories about men in long underwear beating each other up. But then the idea of the non-superpowered costumed vigilante was an offshoot of traditional two-fisted crime stories, since the idea of a two-fisted or gun-wielding hero who solves crimes and saves people was a fundamental mainstay of the crime and thriller genre to start with."

Sounds deep. One meaning may be "You were born poor, you don't have to die poor.". Another interpretation may be "Learn from your mistakes and you'll find new mistakes to learn from."
I didn't say they were good interpretations.

- How bad is MGM off right now?
"First off - all the problems with HOBBIT lead back to their mismanagement of that company. NOW... Apparently all development on the next James Bond flick is dead." - Tokyopop Enters Digital Comics With OEL Manga
"Although described as “the world’s top digital publishing distribution service”, Zinio is a name unfamiliar to many of those following the online comics industry. They don’t appear to have any other comics available. Based on the wording of their FAQ, they come from the magazine world, providing a way to make periodicals available online." - Committed: Jim Lee's Lack of Wonder
"A pet peeve of mine is people who can use design software, and so they call themselves designers, (despite no experience or training in the field.) Even though I am able to cook, I would never call myself a chef. Similarly, just because a comic book artist is able to draw clothing, that does not make them stylists or fashion designers."

Experiments in delinkification ((web, links, Nicholas Carr, Rough Type))
"The link is, in a way, a technologically advanced form of a footnote. It's also, distraction-wise, a more violent form of a footnote. Where a footnote gives your brain a gentle nudge, the link gives it a yank. What's good about a link - its propulsive force - is also what's bad about it."

UK given final warning over London air quality
"The warning, sent today by the Environment commissioner Janez Potočni refers to minute airborne particles known as PM10s which are emitted by traffic and factories and can lead to heart attacks, strokes, asthma and lung diseases. According to the Mayor of London's Air Quality Strategy, particle pollution is responsible for over 4,300 premature deaths a year in London at an annual cost of up to £2bn. (The figure is drawn from a report commissioned by the Mayor of London whose full findings were not published.) London's air pollution levels rank as the worst in the UK and also among the worst in Europe."
